I don’t know what we’ve done here in Canterbury, but we’re certainly being tested!
For the most part everyone has gotten used to the rumblings of earthquakes and aftershocks, but now we’ve had our biggest snowfall in 15 years.
The difference with snow though, there is an upside... it’s absolutely beautiful outside. Everything is covered in a blanket - pristine and white. The kids are throwing snowballs and building snowmen while the grown-ups stay close by the fire.

We’re ready for it at Digital Fusion, we’re pretty experienced now at adapting to adverse conditions and when we made the call to work from home today, it wasn’t a big deal. We have a VOIP phone system, our servers are safely tucked up in our internet providers datacentre and almost all of us have mini home offices.
We spare a thought however for the people worst affected by the earthquakes, I imagine not everyone will be enjoying the chill brought on by the snow.
