Hot Off The Press

August 4, 2011

FileMaker Weetbicks is back in the press, this time appearing in Apple's Hot News:

In the past year Daniel Wood, with support from his employer Digital Fusion, has started up a blog - “FileMaker Weetbicks”The blog has been very well received by the FileMaker developer community and has drawn many great accolades for the quantity and the quality of the posts. Daniel is to be commended for his time and efforts in promoting good practices and techniques in FileMaker development. And all this in the face of major earthquake activity in Christchurch, New Zealand where Digital Fusion is based. Christchurch was rocked by a magnitude 7.1 earthquake on 4 September 2010. This was followed by another of magnitude 6.3 on 22 February 2011. The second quake killed 181 people and crippled the CBD area of the city of over 4 million people. The CBD is still closed. Another 6.3 magnitude quake struck on 13 June 2011 with a total of more than 7,500 earthquakes since September. Digital Fusion and other FileMaker developers in the region have been resilient and strong in spirit.

Well done Daniel!
