Xero Makes It Big In Australia

By Craig Saunders, 16 April 2013

Earlier this month we saw the results of Xero's continued growth, particularly the increase in users in Australia. With a growth rate of 219% for the year, we are starting to see that businesses in Australia are really getting behind the products (32% of all users are Australian based). We are also starting to see some of the unique requirements that go with using the solution in Australia.

By nature, Australian businesses are typically larger and have a focus not just on business in Australia but also into the Asian region. They are also a number of years ahead of New Zealand businesses in terms how they expect to integrate other parts of their IT solutions into Xero and finding solutions that will save them money and time. This might be via shopping carts, CRM's or payment gateways but each have their unique requirements, particularly taking into account the need to transact in foreign currencies.

As Digital Fusion have an office and staff in Australia and a large part of our business comes from there, we understand the needs better than most and are able to put our experience to good use when it comes to website or database integration.

We have a number of projects on the go at the moment where we are integrating large scale development projects (both web and FileMaker) into Xero, in multi currencies and multi sites. One of the good things about this is our level of experience grows with each project and we like to think we are at the forefront of Xero development and integration in Australia.

We use Xero ourselves so we understand the need to make it work for you. As with all things, we are keen to discuss what solution you require and how we can help. Do send us an email or give us a call.
